Getting to photograph a wedding at the Lodge at Marconi this past September felt like a dream come true. I had been eyeing this venue for quite some time. It’s modern architecture and mid-century interior design, the location in the hills above Tomales Bay, and the endless nooks and crannies across this vast property are a photographer’s dream. The result is a gallery that feels nuanced. From wide open landscapes leading up to the ceremony site, to art-deco moments in the lodge, to a tented reception and a moody after-party. You get everything all in one place. The location on the map just makes it that much more special. Naturally, we enjoyed sandwiches from the Marshall Store the fuel up for the wedding day, and the welcome party was a golden hour dream on the water at Nick’s Cove. I can’t imagine a better place to invite your guests for a Northern California wedding.

This Lodge at Marconi wedding featured tender moments, a live band parading from ceremony to cocktail hour, thoughtful design that echoed the natural atmosphere, and truly, a fantastic party full of amazing people.
