Oh, heck yes. Albums and prints are something I am SO passionate about and believe people are not taking advantage of as they should. These photos were not meant to live on your phone, but on your walls and in keepsakes your family will treasure forever. Have you ever gotten lost in your parents or grandparents photo albums? These things will tell the story of so many people for generations to come.
You will have access to my print shop after I deliver your photos, but please let me know if you’d like me to design your wedding album personally.
Of course! Honestly, getting your photo taken is uncomfortable for most people. But I gotta say, the key to getting comfortable in front of the camera, is to be comfortable with the person operating the camera. That’s why from start to finish, I aim to get to know you and make the whole process feel easy and fun. We can meet initially over beers (and fun tip: bring some booze to your engagement session), I can help you plan your day, and I promise to be either the calming presence or ultimate hype-woman on your big day - whatever the moment requires.
Hell yes. Let’s climb a mountain at sunrise. Adventure and photography are my two favorite things. Ask me about an adventure elopement or adventure couple’s session!
Absolutely. While I hate that this is even a question, I totally get that when you’re looking for a photographer you want to make sure they have experience and comfort working with and guiding ALL couples. I proudly work with LGBTQ couples and think that no matter who you are, you deserve alllllll the beautiful photos documenting your love because it’s freaking important.
YEAH I do. They are some of my favorite things to shoot. Getting to empower womxn in their bodies is a beautiful experience. Check out my private Instagram @boudoirbyemmastudley and shoot me an email to hear more about the experience I offer:

Yeah I do!! Just let me know the details in the contact form, and be sure to check out my bucket list/travel dates, too!
I absolutely can! I love getting together over a beer or coffee to get to know each other. If that doesn’t work out with schedules, Facetime/phone calls are always an option! But I believe building the relationship between couples and photographers is super important so that you feel like you’re comfortable and vibing when the photos are snappin’.
Totally! I’m happy to get you on the books and add more hours/extra sessions on later if you need some extra time to consider them but really want me reserved for your date. However, I will say that prices are subject to change, so keep that in mind if you’re adding things on later. If you need help making the payments more affordable see the next Q!
Sure! Typically to reserve your date it is 50% down, 50% one month before the wedding. If you’d like smaller chunks though, I am happy to break into thirds or quarters dispersed evenly between booking and one month away from your date?
Totally understandable. However, showing my work is how I get more work. You probably wouldn’t book with me if you hadn’t seen any of my previous work, right?! It’s simply my biggest source of marketing and income. So if you are a more private person (and I get it - feels like nothing is private these days!), then I gotta charge an extra fee. Let me know if this is something you’d like to chat through more!
Having a second shooter is an investment you can’t go wrong with. They are able to assist me with getting different angles during the ceremony, and overall it is always nice to have another pair of eyes at your wedding so you have a bigger gallery at the end. However, I am totally confident in covering a wedding by myself, and have many many times. The few things I tell people to consider when they are thinking about adding on a second shooter are: 1) Do I have over 150 guests and really want to make sure I have photos of most, if not all of them? 2) Did I choose a shorter timeline and am worried about not having ample time for everything? (i.e. main photographer photographs bridesmaids while second photographs groomsmen)
Engagement photo turnaround time is 2-4 weeks. Wedding turnaround time is 6-8 weeks with a sneak peek to share with family and friends within 24-48 hours of the wedding. If you’d like to have ALL your wedding photos delivered ASAP, I have a $950 rush fee to get them back to you within 2 weeks.
Nope! First of all, they are HUGE files that will take up space that you definitely don’t have on your computer. Second, my style and editing is a huge part of the experience you pay for. I gotta have my photos stay consistent when they’re out in the world so that people know what to expect when they work with me!
Hopefully that will never happen, and I am well-prepared to fight off any sickness and take my health very seriously. However, if life or an emergency happens - I’ve got SO many amazing photographer friends I can call to cover my butt. I’d only put you in the hands of someone I trust! Likely I’d have them shoot the wedding and I would still edit the photos for you, so you get the style you paid for. And would refund you an appropriate amount for not having me be the photographer.
It depends on so many things. Details, guest count, hours, etc. On average, you can expect about 80+ images per hour. Often it is much more than that, but the amount really depends on the nature of the day, and what I feel is beautiful and worth delivering to you. I promise, I won’t hide any good ones from ya!
The simple answer is we make the best of it! For an engagement session we can stay in touch about rescheduling if the weather is truly atrocious. With weddings that we obviously can’t push back, we choose to have fun with it! I always encourage bridal parties to bring fun umbrellas for back up, and we can always find an indoor area or dry spaces outside we can work with. And I mean, if you don’t mind dancing in the rain for some fun shots, I’m there.
